Thomas will give a keynote, why we need a beter understanding in the possibilities for the detection of emotion and their modeling. This will help us to depart from the currently dominant approach of facial expression analysis. Emolition and EMDAA cooperate in such effort, which goal it is to identify and transfer relevant theoretical and experimental knowledge. We are also invited to give a glimpse of our Emotion Gateway project to the present audience.
